Government has increased Diesel price by Rupees 5 per litre as according to Indian government that By increasing the price of Diesel 5 rupees they can reduce the under-recovery condition of oil companies like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum by around Rs 20,300 crore. According to government they have a loss of Rs. 17 per litre on diesel , Rs. 32.7 per litre on kerosene and Rs. 347 per cylinder on LPG every day.This make total loss of around Rs. 550 crore everyday by state oil marketing companies.
