Rahul Dravid is going to take Retirement
India's batting wall Rahul Dravid is likely to announce his retirement from Test cricket on Friday; the 39-year-old Dravid had a disastrous tour of Australia where he scored only 194 runs in eight innings at an average of 24.25. He had quit from ODIs and Twenty20 Internationals during the England tour last year. He plays for Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League. The Wall has played164 Test and made 13,288 runs with an average of 49.77 with 36 hundred. His maximum run in Test cricket is 270 against Pakistan. He is the second maximum run-getter in test cricket behind Sachin Tendulkar. He has presented in 344 ODIs with 10,889 runs with 12 tons.
"Mr N Srinivasan, President, BCCI, and Mr Rahul Dravid will address the media at 12:30pm on Friday, 9 March 2012, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru," the release stated.
Rahul dravid going to take retirement after a disastrous tour of Australia this is the news which is all around but if we think it is a great loss for Indian team in test cricket and we can say that Indian media is lots of responsible in this step as India as they criticize the senior player in Australia tour.
